I use Sharpoint at work on the Microsoft 2007 server. I have office 2007 also installed. most of the time i am unable to open attachments unless i right click and choose save target as. The real problem i that i have is similar to the one that I am replying to. I never get an error. Internet Explorer stops responding as soon as i click the open with windows explorer link.

I have tried to troubleshoot the issue and i am not able to figure it out. My colleges have the same Windows 7 image that i do so i am not sure that a hot fix will resolve my issue. I also lack administrative rights so i am unable to install a hot-fix if i wanted to.

hope you can give me some ideas.
