COD Black Ops: PC Issues with Performance, Steam and Memory Leaks

Ok so you just finished downloading the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops and you’re all amped to get it booted up right? Now you get into your first multiplayer game after that tedious step of setting up your controls and by this time you’re gripping the mouse with much anticipation ready to get on that first kill streak. Oh wow, a new server browser. And what’s this? It actually loads the servers fast… nothing like that POS Bad Company 2 server browser that takes forever and looks like it came from 1999.

Apple iPad Finally Unveiled

Apple iPad ImageApple released the long-hyped device the Apple iPad, a one-piece tablet-style computer with a thin design and light price.  Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Inc. made the introduction at Apple’s “Latest Creation” event.  The new device is very thin – you can change the homescreen to whatever you want, you can turn it whichever way you’d like; the interface is like an exploded iPhone.  Available in 60-days (from 1/27/2010) and base model (16GB w/o 3G) at $499 dollars.

Alien vs. Predator – Prerelease Review, Thoughts and Analysis

The new Aliens vs. Predator video game is set to release February 16th and will ship with three different versions – Standard edition, Survivor edition and Hunter edition. I have always been a fan of the Alien and Predator movies since I was first introduced to them as a child. Back in the day (about 10 years ago) when Aliens vs Predator 2 came out for PC it was an excellent game. Three campaign modes and online multiplayer kept me entertained for a long time.

Team Fortress 2: The War! Winner is the Soldier Class

The TF2 War! Update Winner

Soldier wins! For all of you who don’t know, the TF2 War! update saw a battle for kills between the Soldier and Demoman classes. To earn a point each class my earn one kill by killing a member of the rival class.

The Final Tally 6,406,065 killed Demomen to the Demo’s score of 6,372,979 killed Soldiers.
