CSS Vertical Centering Text, Images and other Elements

CSS IconCascading style sheets make is very easy to center objects vertically. This may be an image or some text that you wish to align properly for whatever reason. For this tutorial we will demonstrate how to vertically align some text then an image using an easy and W3C compliant method. Then I will show you how to place text or images in the absolute middle or center.

Top-10 Free Website SEO Analysis Tools of 2009

There are many useful website graders available for free on the web.  You don’t have to pay for quality tools, you just need to know where to look.  I’ve used plenty of SEO tools on my website, the key is to review the results objectively and compare the reports with one another.

SharePoint Color Coated Calendars

I found a particularly good blog about how to color your Calendar lists similar to the way Outlook’s are formatted using the Content Editor Web Part and some nifty Javascript HERE.  This particularly valuable post comes to you from PlanetWilson SharePoint Blog, a particularly good source of information for MOSS solution.  There is a packaged solution file (which I have yet to try because I hear it lacks the incoming e-mail feature of WSS 3.0 calendars) and a nice walkthrough demonstrating how to setup your ”coloured” calendars.  I used it and it works great, here is a image of what I was able to create in about 30 minutes.
